Senate Republican Leader Calls on Attorney General to Formally Investigate CYFD
SANTA FE –In response to a KRQE report alleging a massive cover-up by the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) in the death of 4-year-old, James Dunklee, Senate Republican Leader, Senator Greg Baca (District 29-Bernalillo and Valencia), is calling on the Attorney General to launch a formal investigation.
"The details in the KRQE report, including alleged negligence and evidence tampering by senior CYFD officials, are serious and must be investigated," said Senator Baca. "I urge the Attorney General to launch a formal investigation of the Department immediately."
